Racism alive and festering across America
Presumption of innocence is not a right specifically enumerated in our Constitution. It is in fact a recognized right in common law that precedes our Constitution's bill of rights and can be found in human legal jurisprudence all the way back to the Roman Empire. Free is a four letter word
There is a deeply corrosive concept stirring in America today. It's a concept that eats at the very fabric of our economic and social system. That is that anything and everything I want should somehow be free.

There is nothing that is really free. In fact, even the air we breath comes at some cost. That cost may be hidden in the sense that we don't personally have to pay money to breath it. But if we want it to be clean then we must find a way to keep everyone from filling the air we share with harmful substances. So we regulate emissions of all types. We can argue about how effective those regulations are another day, but the reality is there is a cost to all of us for keeping the air clean.
