Be fire safe on Labor Day weekend

Even though cooler weather is forecast for some parts of the state, the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) plans to keep a burn ban in place until September 30, 2010, for all 12.7 million acres of public and private lands it protects from wildfire.
