Numerica PAC hosts Spring Fling
The Numerica PAC hosts its third annual SPRING FLING on April 11 starting at 6:00pm. The Spring Fling is a festive gala to honor generous supporters of the center, as well as introduce a lineup of potential 2015-2016 Season shows.

"We want to express our gratitude for such strong and loyal support - past, present and future," says Numerica PAC Executive Director Matt Cadman, "so not only will our guests be the first to experience next season's fabulous program offerings, but they will also have the opportunity to become a sponsor for next season, in full or in part."

Community Foundation scholarships available
The Community Foundation of NCW is seeking applications for four remaining scholarships worth up to $45,000. The deadline to apply the scholarships is June 1st.

Three of the scholarships available are for students seeking Nursing degrees and one will support a current agriculture student at Washington State University.

New Okanogan-Wenatchee Forest supervisor named
The Pacific Northwest Region of the USDA Forest Service announced Mike Williams as the new Okanogan-Wenatchee Forest Supervisor this week.

"I am thrilled to announce the selection of Mike Williams as the new Okanogan-Wenatchee Forest Supervisor," said Jim Peña, Pacific Northwest Regional Forester. "Mike is a proven leader and he brings an extensive set of skills and experience to the Northwest spanning fire ecology, restoration and natural resource management. His experience in community relations and collaboration will be a great asset to the Forest and Region."
