Precautionary school lockdown goes without a hitch
At approximately 9:40 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, Chelan County Sheriff's deputy and Cashmere school board member, Paul Harris, called Cashmere School District Superintendent Glenn Johnson to inform him that the sheriff's office was about to execute an arrest warrant on a potentially dangerous suspect. The sheriff's office requested all district facilities immediately go to a modified lockdown.
