FFA FARM Team: Students become teachers for state competition
Cashmere High School senior Delaney Strutzel mentors third graders at Vale Elementary School about proper nutrition in everyday life as part of the FFA’s FARM project.

Our FARM team consists of six girls from our FFA Chapter. Our seniors are Delaney Strutzel, Hannah Asmussen and Ellie York. Our sophomores are Carley Kruiswyk, Rainey Reed and Myah Lowe.

The Bulldog girls team and the boys team both finished third in the 45th Annual Cashmere Invitational track meet Saturday, April 16.

Bulldog baseball: Cashmere adds 3 more wins
The Cashmere Bulldogs Varsity Baseball team added three wins to its non-league record last week, including a double header against Okanogan on Tuesday, April 12, (3-1, 5-4) and an 11-3 win over Quincy on Thursday.

Cashmere forward Angel Ibarra looks for a pass during Saturday's home game against Tonasket. Cashmere won 5-1 and, as of Monday, stands is 1- 2 in league play, 4-7-0 overall. The Bulldogs faced Chelan on Tuesday (results were not available at press time). Next up is Okanogan at home on Saturday.

Cashmere softball: Early leads win games
Early runs helped Cashmere High School's Varsity Softball Team stay focused in last Tuesday's 7-3 win over Okanogan.

But on Friday, Nooksack Valley had the same idea, taking an early lead in both games, winning 7-1, 12-9.

The return from spring break was a good one for Cashmere High School tennis teams, with both boys and girls teams winning against Tonasket on Tuesday, April 12, and against Entiat on Thursday, April 14.
