Rockin' around the Christmas Tree

Submitted by Marrissa Collins

The Festival of Trees vision is "to be Washington's premier holiday celebration of the arts." The mission is "to raise funds and awareness for the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee while celebrating the beginning of the Holiday Season."

The holidays area a stressful time for many. Delight in the season before it all begins with the 2012 Numerica Festival of Trees: Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. These may be the most elaborately decorated trees you will see this season - so bring the family and get inspired by the talent our community has to offer with 13, 7 to 12 foot trees, a silent wreath auction and local entertainment - And you can see it all for free in the PAC lobby. But it doesn't stop there! We have events happening all weekend for you and your girlfriends or family. It's the PAC's annual fundraiser so come and share the holiday spirit with us.

The Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee is a non-profit organization, unsustainable on ticket sales and facility rentals alone and receives no federal, state or city benefits. It relies on the annual Festival of Trees to raise money so the community can continue to experience and participate in the performing arts live on the PAC stage. Volunteer coordinated, locally supported and attended, this four-day event is Valley's kick-off to the holiday season - it has something for everyone in the spirit of giving!
