Braver Angles workshop

Dr. June Darling will facilitate a workshop designed by Braver Angels for faith-based

groups to help bridge the current political divide. The first workshop will be held at

Cashmere Community Church on Sunday, June 23, at 11 a.m.

“Respect, not agreement, is an essential key for a healthy discussion,” the event flier states. “This workshop raises our awareness of how we may polarize without realizing it.”

“The goals of the workshop are to help each of us become more aware of our “inner

polarizer” or demonizer,” the event flier states. “We will learn how to interact with people we disagree with without escalating emotions, demonizing, or dismissing large populations of ordinary people – including our friends, family, and neighbors.”
