A Celtic St. Patrick’s Day

The Icicle Creek Center for the Arts will host The Gothard Sisters: A Celtic St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 16 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. 

“Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Gothard Sisters, as they bring the joy of festive contemporary Celtic folk music and dance to the stage,” the event page states.

St. Patrick’s benefit dinner

The Cashmere Wacoka Kiwanis will hold their annual St. Patrick’s benefit dinner for Paelyn Lueondee on Sunday, March 17, from 4-6 p.m. in the Vale Elementary School Cafeteria.

Lueondee is a 5th grader at Cashmere Middle School. She was born with a blood disorder called Thalassemia. She is currently at Seattle Children’s Hospital for a month while she begins the initial stage of gene therapy to treat the blood disorder.

The menu includes corned beef and cabbage, Irish beef stew, a salad, rolls, and desserts.

Admission is by donation. The suggested donation is $9 per person or $32 for a family of four.
