Carly Schoening Performing at Founders Day

I am 18 years old and for as long as I can remember all I’ve ever wanted to spend my time doing is playing guitar and writing songs. I started to write songs when I was six years old, although, I’m certain they weren’t masterpieces. I begged and begged my parents for a guitar and on my tenth birthday they caved. The custodian at my elementary school taught me how to play and that’s when music shifted from a hobby to a goal for me. I’ve been playing at as many places as I can since, and plan on pursuing this dream of mine after I graduate high school.
