Flywheel Investment Conference 2024 to showcase six promising startups competing for over $250,000 in funding

Posted

WENATCHEE  - The Flywheel Angel Network has announced the six finalists set to compete at the highly anticipated Flywheel Investment Conference from April 17-19, 2024, in Wenatchee. These innovative companies will vie for a share of over $200,000 in angel investment awards, with an additional $50,000 relocation offer and a $5,000 fan favorite prize up for grabs.

The conference, now in its seventh year, offers a unique platform for education, networking, and exploring support for emerging companies. Attendees can expect a jam-packed agenda featuring educational workshops, a diverse speaker line-up, and the conference's signature "shark-tank style" investment competition.

The six finalists, selected from a pool of 71 applicants, represent a wide range of industries and solutions:

Brief

Brief is a pioneering platform dedicated to simplifying everyday contracts for small and emerging businesses. By democratizing contract data, Brief equips businesses with the insights needed to comprehend uncommon clauses, transforming the way agreements are understood and negotiated. With support and recognition from Techstars Boulder last fall, the University of Chicago Alumni New Venture Challenge, and the San Diego Angel Conference, Brief has already welcomed pilot companies, demonstrating its efficacy in streamlining contract processes. Brief is poised to launch to new customers in Q2-24.

Dopl Technologies

Rural areas have a higher mortality rate than urban areas. A primary reason is that specialists who diagnose and treat diseases are concentrated in urban areas, forcing rural patients to travel long distances, receive care late, or forgo care altogether. Dopl's solution is a telerobotic ultrasound system that enables specialists to perform non-invasive ultrasound exams on patients in a different location. Expected benefits include increased patient access to care, improved patient outcomes, and increased revenue and decreased costs for hospitals.

FlyX Technologies

FlyX has developed a patented wireless power charging system to enable drones to use existing powerline infrastructure and charge their onboard batteries. This enables drones to achieve unlimited range and true Beyond Visual Line of Sight flight. FlyX drones are able to tackle large-scale problems such as inspection and monitoring of powerlines, pipelines, roadways, railways and gather data to create a predictive maintenance and analytics platform. FlyX customers are infrastructure asset owners who are able to fix the issues and mitigate risks before they pose any threat cost-effectively, safely, and more frequently than current methods.

Terrantic

Terrantic improves shelf-life and throughput for the food industry and process-manufacturing decision makers who are dissatisfied with data silos creating inefficiencies.  Our product is an AI powered Contextualization Engine that provides a platform for automating the integration of disparate data sources.  We have the only fully dedicated Packhouse Solution in the industry for storage optimization, reducing labor costs, and improving operational efficiency.

It is estimated that one third of the adult population is the USA, about 70 million people suffer from sleep issues. SleepVibe is dedicated to helping people to get more deeply restful sleep so they can live lives with joy and connection.
