WALL OF FAME

Doug Milner is a 1983 graduate of Cashmere High School.  Dr Milner attended Washington State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology. From there he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington.  He graduated in the top 5 of his class and earned membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  Dr Milner taught for three years at the University of Washington School of Dentistry before moving back to the Wenatchee Valley.  He received his accreditation into the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2014 and is a faculty member of the Spear study club.  He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and participates in the North Central District Dental Society, and the North Central Washington Implant Study Club.  He is passionate about providing personalized high-quality dentistry.  Dr.  Milner and his wife Tami have five grown children and enjoys spending time with his family. Dr Milner is also an active multi-sport athlete.  With him during the graduation ceremony, his wife Tami, and his parents Dick and Judy Milner.  Dick is also a member of the Cashmere Wall of Fame and Judy served the Cashmere School District for years as the district nurse.

Rudy Joya is a 2006 graduate of Cashmere High School.  Rudy is currently the principal of Cascade High School in Leavenworth. Mr. Joya is the Principal of Kodiak Virtual Academy and is the truancy board director of Cascade School District. We are fortunate to have Rudy at our Cashmere and Cascade graduation ceremonies. Previously Rudy served as the Assistant Principal at Cascade High School.  Before Cascade High School Rudy was an administrator and teacher at Wenatchee High School where he served as Dean of Students and taught Math. Rudy has a bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education from Central Washington University, a master’s degree in teacher leadership from Walden University and a principal’s certificate from Washington State University. As Rudy has stated before, it is his passion to serve students and be an advocate for them by building positive relationships and helping them both short and long term.  Rudy is proud of his Cashmere roots, he is honored to share this Wall of Fame Induction with his family, his wife Bethany, also a Cashmere graduate and his four children.
